Head of State approved creating the unitary force: The National Peasant Union Ezequiel Zamora

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, proposed creating from now until September 18, a new unitary force: the Ezequiel Zamora National Peasant Union.

The decision was approved unanimously and the head of state said that in 60 days the Great National Peasant Union, Ezequiel Zamora, should be active.

In this sense, he called on “all peasant movements to start a movement of reunification, to revive the new”.

He explained that for this reunification there are three main lines of action: The first, the organizational and training lines. The second line, which covers the National Plan for Productive Economy.

He pointed out that for this Productive Economy Plan, once the peasants' councils are established from the ground up, organize a National Consultation to approve resources for them. Apply this method, because everyone has their needs

“More than 14 million hectares have been delivered, you have to title immediately, the ones that are missing,” he said.

Thirdly, he mentioned the creation of a national peasant plan to progressively make these lands productive.

“This is the new force, for the constitution of a powerful national movement that unifies the diversity of the peasant movement. We must be organized as Peasant Councils at the territorial level throughout the country,” he stressed.
