The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the celebration of the 165th anniversary of the Battle of Santa Inés, approved in the Popular Assembly resources for a plan to plant war and the production of animal protein in the country.
“In the context of the economic aggressions of the empire against Venezuela and the Bolivarian Revolution, the planting and cultivation of war items must be developed in a more complete and accelerated way in the different regions, including caraotas, beans, corn, cassava, vegetables, potatoes, ocumo, yams, and others, and to increase the production of animal protein in the country,” the national president read the proposal of the peasant, community and aquaculture movement.
The President said that he has the resources to support this plan, which seeks to guarantee food security, as well as to advance land regularization, so he urged the National Land Institute to make progress in advising farmers and rural producers.
