Head of State: Chicken production increased by 188% in the last four years

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that the production of benefited chicken increased by 188% in the last four years and added that Venezuela produces 90% of the food it consumes.
On a tour of the company Industrias Pollo Premium 5.8, C.A., he explained that “it's impressive that we have 140 workers here, focused on their work. Bagging chickens that go straight to wineries and butchers and produce 90,000 chickens a day.”
This poultry company is recognized for its integrated process, which ranges from the purchase of genetics to distribution and final commercialization. With a plant of 8,984.76 square meters, the company has an installed daily production capacity of 75,000 to 80,000 chickens in eight hours of work, generating 1,400 direct jobs.
