The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that communes are the fundamental basis of popular organization in Venezuela, since they represent the unification of the strength of the communal councils, referring to the participation of popular power, last Sunday, April 21, in the National Popular Consultation.

This was pointed out in the Antímano parish, where he led a working day dedicated to the balance of the Great Equality and Social Justice Mission “Hugo Chávez” and the National Popular Consultation 2024. “

He recalled that it was Commander Hugo Chávez, who created the Community Councils as the highest organ of organized popular power, an instance where communities present, discuss and propose the solutions that affect them.

“The communal consultation last Sunday was a total success and it remains for us as an experience (...) this is the path to change everything, to meet what people really need,” he said.

At the request of a member of the community, she approved the resources for the adaptation of the Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) in Mamera.
