Head of State declares July 18 as Day of the Migrant and of the Dignity of the Migrant

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reported that to commemorate the struggles of heroine mothers in defense of their children and in rejection of fascism, the Day of the Migrant and the Dignity of the Migrant will be celebrated every July 18, whose movement is identified with a bracelet

This was stated by telephone in a contact that took place during the International Meeting of Mothers Victims of Fascism, held this Saturday at the Yellow House in Caracas.

“Every July 18th we are going to celebrate this date because pain must be transformed into hope and future, we must make life new and our Homeland new. I am very happy because we have seen how communities have accompanied families to welcome the boys,” he said.

The Head of State assured that this event “is a national and also a global holiday, we have received messages from many parts of the world celebrating freedom and after that celebration work, and then justice, because justice will come to the tormentors and kidnappers, you see, whoever messes with Venezuela dries up”.

In that regard, he indicated that “I told them that these boys were innocent and we were going to rescue them, whatever the cost, I thank God for their hand and their interception, those boys resisted. They were told that the Venezuelan government supported them being imprisoned in El Salvador, to demoralize them, also to mentally torture them, then another group that arrived clarified that it wasn't true, that the mothers, the people and the government were in one voice asking for their rescue, in prayer, prayer turned into action and action into an unforgettable event.”

During the meeting, Carilyn Fuentes, victim of the kidnapping carried out by Salvadoran president Nayib Bukele, of 252 Venezuelans, suggested the creation of a Creole movement, bringing together the “Heroine Mothers”, a proposal that was received with approval and approval by the Head of Government.
