Head of State heads anniversary event of the PNB and CICPC

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, heads the 14th anniversary event of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB). He indicated that it is a security body that “carries out its work with vocation, sacrifice and respect for human dignity.”

From the headquarters of the National Experimental Security University (UNES), in Caracas, the Head of State recognized the work of security professionals who “risk their lives for the protection of the Peace, security and tranquility of the People”.

At the event, 15,000 new professional officials of the National National Labor Force graduated, “as a necessary, legitimate and meritorious recognition of the glorious and heroic bodies of the Venezuelan police,” said the Head of State.

The PNB is the country's main security force that began operations on December 20, 2009.
