The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Thursday the strength of the Homeland defense system in the face of the siege and the imperial threat of the United States (USA) Government.

During the closing ceremony of the II Course on Revolutionary Special Operations (COER), the head of state urged military and police forces to take advantage of this circumstance “to strengthen us in the nation's defense plans, to strengthen us morally, politically, institutionally, psychologically, to strengthen ourselves, as we are strengthening ourselves, in national union.”

“Today I can say, after 20 continuous days of announcements, threats, psychological warfare, and siege against the Venezuelan Nation, today we are stronger than yesterday, today we are more prepared to defend peace, sovereignty and territorial integrity, much more than yesterday,” he ratified.

The Dignitary noted that right now Venezuela has more national support and more international support “than ever before.”

China, Russia, India, to nearby civilizations, our brothers on the Latin American and Caribbean continent, we are receiving understanding, support, solidarity and we are setting an example as a rebel people to awaken the anti-imperialist and anti-colonialist consciousness of the continent and the world,” he emphasized.
