The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Tuesday, September 03, inaugurated, through a television show, the Comprehensive Care Unit for Women at the Dr. Domingo Luciani Hospital, in the Petare parish in the Sucre municipality, in the Miranda state, within the framework of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission.

In this regard, the head of state congratulated the authorities of the sector, “I congratulate them, continue to strengthen the health of all communities in the state of Miranda.”

For her part, the Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Education and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, reported that rehabilitations in the areas of women's care, carried out by the Bolivarian Government, at the Domingo Luciani Hospital, could benefit more than 15,000 families who require prevention and care for diseases such as breast cancer.

She also highlighted that in all the country's women's aid centers, around 250,000 have been served and favored, through the plans of the National Executive to continue strengthening the development of the health sector for the benefit of the general population.

The governor of Miranda state, Elio Serrano, stressed that the purpose is to guarantee services especially in the area of disease prevention.

He added that this work reflects the commitment and work of the Bolivarian Government with the integral well-being of women in the country.
