Head of State inaugurates Historic House of Marshal José Antonio Sucre in Cumaná

On a day held this Monday, December 30 from the city of Caracas, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro presented the Historical House of Marshal José Antonio Sucre de Cumaná.
“I want to deliver a work that should fill the people of Cumaná with great joy, the people who saw the birth of the giant Antonio José de Sucre (...) We are going to deliver the original, in package to his fully recovered birthplace,” he said.
The
governor of the state of Sucre, Gilberto Pinto, accompanied by the Minister for
Culture, Ernesto Villegas, provided details of the infrastructure. “From this historic house, we salute Venezuela and are proud of the rehabilitation and of presenting it to everyone. We honor our hero and make it available to everyone to know the place where he was born and lived his first years, as well as his history,” said the governor of the entity.
