The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
Nicolás Maduro, instructed this Tuesday to resume the plan promoted by the
revolutionary leader Robert Serra for the rescue of youth vulnerable to falling into violence.
“We are talking about priorities, motivated by the
proposals that you sent me (...) something that Robert dedicated himself to, working with young people to get them out of crime,
of bad steps or to prevent that youth that is out there from falling into
life, which I call painful, because the boy who falls into drugs, into
crime, into robbery, into drug trafficking, is lost for life, for
society, for the community, but the worst thing is that he loses for the family,” said the Head of State.
In this regard, during an event in homage to Robert Serra
and María Herrera 10 years after their planting, the Dignitary charged the young
leaders of the Bolivarian Revolution to “resume Robert
Serra's plan, which he called 'A Thousand Times Youth', to protect our young people from crime, violence, drugs and
anti-values”.
