The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his rejection and condemned the complicit silence of international media in the face of frequent conspiracies and assassination attempts

“I have no doubt that the international press, the big portals, the big agencies are aware that they must be silent, that they must cover up and what is worse, they are trying to victimize and turn the perpetrators into victims,” he said.

In his program Con Maduro+, in his 42nd broadcast, he emphasized that this is a “cover-up, if the events happened to any other President in the world, five conspiracies happened here in 2023, and so far in 2024, four conspiracies, it would surely be the main news”.

“The so-called Western press is trying to cover up these facts, in an attitude of complicity and concealment,” he said.

He argued that the evidence presented in each of the attacks against him is convincing.

“Those evidences that have been shown last year and this year are convincing, I would even say, in legal language, conclusive, the intellectual authors, planners, funders and direct actors are convinced and confessed,” he denounced.
