The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, during the Extraordinary Plenary of the V Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), stressed that imperialism, his desire to seize the wealth of Venezuela, underestimated him as the leader of the Chavista People and of the Bolivarian historical project.
“After the departure of the most giant of the giants, after Simón Bolívar and Ezequiel Zamora, we cried it a lot until the day came when we said enough of the tears, here we have to fight and we unite, and they began the attack against Maduro and they said it doesn't last a week, not more than this month, this semester, this year, this decade and we reiterate it to them: it's not Maduro, it's a people, a historic project, an inalienable force at the root of a Homeland that has given birth to giants from all over the America, we are millions,” he said.
