Head of State: Let's forcefully resume installing desalination plants in coastal areas

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his great satisfaction at seeing the recovery of a desalination plant in the town of Guanta, Anzoátegui state, in order to improve the supply of drinking water in this entity.
He made the statement when recalling the development of the project for the installation of desalination plants in the coastal states of Venezuela, which was paralyzed by the economic war and the blockade of the US empire.
“Let's recover all the plants and I insist to General Marco Torres, Minister of Water: let's take up with force, within the framework of the 7 T, the culture of desalination plants as a technological solution for coastal areas in Venezuela,” he stressed.
This was stated in Puerto La Cruz, in the state of Anzoátegui, from where he performed the 35th program of “With Maduro+”.
Faced with this fact for the benefit of the people, the head of state, said that the extremist opposition sector, “anything good that happens in Venezuela is covered up, but if it is hard, it is difficult to take advantage of it to put Venezuela abroad.
For his part, the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the efforts made to activate the said plant.
