Head of State: Mobilization in honor of the Battle of Saint Agnes was “the mother of marches”

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, described it as “the mother of marches”, referring to the mobilization of the Venezuelan people that took place on a national scale this Wednesday, December 11, to commemorate the 166th anniversary of the Battle of Saint Agnes, in defense of our national sovereignty against the threats of North American imperialism.
“Tremendous mobilization yesterday and it rained on us. It rained throughout the march,” he said in Pinto Salinas, El Recreo parish, where he visited the “Comuna Amalivaca” Self-Government Room, in order to inspect and deliver comprehensive rehabilitation works, within the framework of Commune Thursday.
On the march, the head of state recalled that “on the day of our General of the Sovereign People, Ezequiel Zamora, human rivers, of peasants and peasants, ordinary men and women, all along the avenues”.
“From San Martín Avenue to O'Leary Avenue, from Mexico and University Avenue to O'Leary Avenue, from end to end,” he said.
