Head of State on DGCIM and GHP: They are bulwarks of peace, democracy and Homeland Independence

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during the Promotion of the Military Professional Personnel of the Presidential Honor Guard (GHP) and the General Directorate of Military Counterintelligence (DGCIM), stressed that this contingent has been up to the giant assigned to them by the Homeland.

“Venezuela has peace and democracy, because of you, you are the bulwark of peace, democracy and national independence, so you must be aware of the gigantic responsibility, of the gigantic commitment not only to you but to an entire country because the enemies of our country have attacked the institutions of a country and in the person of the President of the Republic, stressed the also Commander in Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in reference to the Presidential Honor Guard.

He highlighted the process of rebuilding the DGCIM to become one of the most powerful intelligence agencies in our continent.

“I owe my life to you and I can tell you that I am deeply grateful and I know that the Fatherland owes its life and peace,” he said.
