During the great march for the 166th anniversary of the Battle of Santa Inés, in Caracas, this Wednesday, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, took a Zamoran oath with the people.

“Men and women of the People. Militiamen and militiamen. With the sabre of the General of the Sovereign People Ezequiel Zamora. I swear absolute loyalty to the Venezuelan Homeland. I swear! Deepen the strengthening of Popular Power. I swear! To lead our Venezuelan homeland to great victories and always defend our land's right to peace and life,” he said.
