The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, urged the country's agro-producers to continue growing, since it opens up for Venezuela at the level of the first agri-food engine to build the Export Route.
“I ask you to continue producing, let's continue to grow, but the window of opportunity that opens up to Venezuela at the level of the first agri-food engine in the export window. Let's build the export route!” , he emphasized.
The orientation was proposed in Quibor, in Lara state, when he led a working day dedicated to the country's productive economy and where he pointed out that, once a significant level of growth has been achieved, for 14 quarters, the next goal is to boost exports.
As an example, he mentioned cheese, meat and other products, which can be offered at a good price abroad, and as an element of value, he pointed to the excellent quality of the production, “healthy, organic, without chemicals, without poisons”, since cattle in Venezuela are fed with healthy grass, therefore “meat, milk and milk derivatives are organic”.
In this regard, he instructed the Minister of Popular Power for Productive Agriculture and Lands, Wilmar Castro Soteldo, and the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to resolve obstacles that hinder exports.
“All the checkpoints, the permissions, all the bureaucracy are collapsing so that food producers, sooner rather than later, in a year, two to three years, are seeing each other's faces and are smiling because we will be prosperous, since wealth will enter the country, to continue growing,” he argued.
