The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, reiterated this Wednesday that the country is moving towards the consolidation of the state of social welfare and real economic recovery.

During the National Council for Productive Economy in the Western Region, the head of state emphasized the importance of tax collection for social programs promoted by the National Government.

“That talk about the taxes collected by José David (Cabello) goes up. And what is tax money for? The money from taxes goes to schools, high schools, universities, CDI hospitals, outpatient clinics, to build 3 million homes for 3 million families who still need it,” he said.

He also pointed out that the income is allocated “to social investment, for social equality, to improve pensions as we were able to improve the income of pensioners this month, thanks to the blessed law that we adopted with your consent. Grow to build the Social Welfare State that Venezuela is going to have, it will recover,” he stressed.
