Head of State: We will celebrate one more year of the Bolivarian Constitution with the exercise of popular sovereignty

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stated that the best way to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, “the first to be born in consensus with the People”, will be through the exercise of power and popular sovereignty

“This is the second step we are going to take in the right direction, demonstrating that we are on the right side and on December 15, it was born with the popular, direct and secret vote, the judges of the peace, an important and powerful institution of the neighbors, of the community, of modern democracy and of the Popular Power of Venezuelan socialism,” he said.

This statement was made during a communal assembly with the candidates for judges of the peace held in the 23 de Enero parish in the parish of 23 de Enero, in the city of Caracas.
