The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked the visit and work carried out by the 19 international observers who met in the country to verify the functioning of the country's electoral system during the development of the National Popular Consultation.

Angola, Barbados, the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Jordan, Malaysia, Trinidad and Tobago, Spain and Antigua and Barbuda participated as international observers, who confirmed the efficiency and transparency of the Venezuelan electoral system. “They can go and tell their countries how the regime is in Venezuela,” he ironized.
