Health and Life Plan 2026 carried out a children's surgical day in Barinas

A new group of boys and girls from different communities in Barinas underwent surgery at the Dr. Samuel Darío Maldonado Maternal and Child Hospital, according to information published by the newspaper Último Noticias.

In this regard, Dr. Ángela Torres, director of the healthcare center, explained that the day corresponds to requests made through the VenApp platform of the 1×10 of Good Governance and the Health and Life Plan 2026.

Surgeries performed free of charge include umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, hydrocele and sublingual frenulum.

Torres explained that these types of operations seek to decongest elective surgery services in the public hospital network of the llanera entity.
