Héctor Rodríguez: 5.5 million children started classes this Monday

A total of 5.5 million children and adolescents are joining classrooms this Monday with the start of the 2024-2025 school year, said the Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez.

During a day of work with President Nicolás Maduro, the minister indicated that 1,500 schools are being recovered throughout Venezuela to care for these boys.

“This year, BRICOMILES have recovered 8,000 schools and 1,500 more are being repaired to ensure the best conditions for the entire educational process,” he said.

On the other hand, the head of the Education portfolio indicated that a training process was also initiated in the country in various areas for all teachers in the country.

“This training program will be ongoing throughout the year. The idea is that with this program we accompany the classroom teacher and we can improve the education that our children receive,” he stressed.
