The Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, assured this Thursday that the election of the Justices of the Peace, this December 15, is a fundamental step in promoting culture, coexistence and tranquility in the country.

During a videoconference with representatives of the Great New Generation Missions, he recalled that the electoral campaign for this election is already active and predicted that this process will strengthen the solidarity coexistence promoted by the Bolivarian Revolution.

“This is an effort to rebuild justice based on coexistence, from citizenship, from what indigenous communities call verbiage, to address problems in time so that they don't escalate, so that they don't end up in dynamics of much greater violence,” he said.

He added, according to a press release from the Ministry of Education, that this election “also has to do with continuing to strengthen the social fabric”, and that “citizens are involved in the exercise of politics” and thus consolidate in each territory a “space for the administration of justice that impacts what some political theorists call linked public policies”.

Vice President Rodríguez said that the New Generation Great Missions teams that are deployed in communes and communal circuits play a leading role in this electoral process in convening, promoting and disseminating each step, as well as the scope and benefits of peace justice in each community.
