Héctor Rodríguez: Most of the Venezuelan people know that Chavism is the one who can guarantee peace in the country

The majority of Venezuelans know and believe that the only one that can guarantee peace in Venezuela is Chavism, said the sectorial vice-president for Social and Territorial Socialism, Héctor Rodríguez, at an assembly held in Acarigua with the social movements of the Portuguese state.

Rodríguez warned that the decisions taken will depend on whether Venezuela ends up like Libya, like Iraq or Syria, or that it stays in peace and regains its economic capacity, “it depends on whether we stay united or not, whether we govern well or not, if we are intelligent or not,” said the vice president.

He also explained that there is no way for Venezuela to go under the table in this global dispute. “We have to prepare for that, we have to reflect on what is happening in the world in order to respond with intelligence (...) Here I ask you, in the midst of fear, to keep a cool mind and understand the current moment we are living in,” he emphasized.

He reiterated that this is a moment of great intelligence, and asserted that there are intentions on the part of some sectors to divide Chavism, promote the idea of an alleged betrayal, for which he called for alert, to act wisely and to gain strength for action.
