During the broadcast of the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña hosted by the deputy to the National Assembly (AN), Tania Díaz, renowned journalist Marcela Heredia said that “women are the fundamental basis of the political system”.

Inspired by the strategy of the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, the Argentine journalist pointed out that “Venezuelan women leave everything ready at home and go out on the street ready to solve whatever they have to solve and to work on the street from the fight and without neglecting the home.”

In this regard, he asserted that the awakening of the struggle is in Venezuela. “When President Nicolás Maduro says: 'if they touch this sacred land what they are going to find is the awakening of armed struggle' that is the key, with tenderness and dialogue we women achieve this...”.

“For me, women are the basis of everything from the family to a communal system to a political organizational system; because from the family we work politics,” Heredia said.
