The Venezuelan Hydrological Multidisciplinary Team (HIDROVEN), reactivated a deep well in the Ruiz Pineda sector of the Pozo Verde parish, in the Caroní municipality of the state of Bolívar.
The tasks included the installation of a 3 HP submersible pump in a 54-meter-deep well, thus generating a production of 3 liters per second of drinking water, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Water.
These tasks directly serve more than 300 families from the Américo Silva Commune of the Ruiz Pineda Community Council, which includes the sectors, Víctor Acuña 1 and 2, La Unión, 12 de Mayo, 12 de Octubre and Ruiz Pineda, including the Zenobia Rafaela Ascanio National Basic School and the Clorindo Manuel Paredes National High School.
The actions carried out are part of the winning project in the Second National Popular Consultation of the year 2025; this phase included the jacketing or lining of the well, in addition to the purchase of materials for its reactivation.
The member of the Technical Water Board of the Ruiz Pineda Community Council, José Merchán, said that he is grateful for the work of the entire HIDROVEN technical team and the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, for making direct contact with communities possible.
The Bolivarian Government continues to transform realities through concrete works that, under strategic leadership, reaffirm its commitment to the protection of the Venezuelan people.
