Historic participation! Venezuela finishes Paralympic Games with six medals and 12 diplomas

The delegation of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela completed its participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games with a total of six medals, three gold, two silver and one bronze; in addition to 12 Paralympic diplomas.

Enderson Santos, in the 400 meters T11; Naibis Morillo, throwing an F46 javelin; and Clara Fuentes, in the parapower, won gold medals.

Naibis, in addition to becoming the champion, made history by achieving a 43.77 meter throw to win the new Paralympic record, while Fuentes broke the record in -50 kg with a 124 kg lift.

Lisbeli Vera, in the 400 meters T47 and Alejandra Pérez, in the 200 meters T11, won Venezuela's two silver medals on the athletic track of the Stade de France.

For his part, Marcos Blanco, in the -60 KG, class J1, of the parajudo, was in third position to win bronze in the category.

In addition, the Gold Generation won 12 Paralympic diplomas from: Franyelis Vargas (long jump, T11); Yomaira Cohen (Bullet Impulse, F37); Emma Rodríguez (Paratriathlon, PTS2); Alejandra Pérez (400 meters, T12); Leonela Vera (400 meters, T20); Linda Pérez (100 meters, T11); Luis Rodríguez (400 meters, T20); Belkis Mota (100 meters chest, SB12); Paola García (Long jump, T47); Edwards Varela (Disco Launch, F37); Linda Pérez (200 meters, T11); and Danitza Sanabria (Judo +70 kg, class J1).
