President-in-Charge paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's immortal legacy

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led an emotional and solemn event in memory of the historic leader and father of the Indian Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

“We pay tribute to the immortal legacy of Mahatma Gandhi, a symbol of the peaceful struggle for India's independence. Her thinking transcends and with it, today we confirm: “There is no path to peace; peace is the path,” wrote the president in charge, in her account on the social network T elegram.

Relations between Venezuela and India are undergoing a renewed impetus aimed at a long-term strategic alliance. With more than 40 years of diplomatic ties, both nations are strengthening an agenda based on respect for sovereignty, shared development and solid cooperation in multilateral forums.
