In a week! GNB dismantled eight organized crime groups

A total of 79,792 kilos of drugs were seized by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) during the week of January 15 to 21, 2024, according to information issued by this military body.

According to the information, issued through an operations report, the drug was classified as follows: 41 kilos with 912 grams of cocaine, 31,859 KGS of marijuana, 20 grams of tussis and a gram of crak.

During the same time, as part of the organized fight against crime, eight Structured Organized Crime Groups (GEDO) were dismantled and four offenders were neutralized.

In addition, 684 criminals were brought to the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and 564 ammunition, 57 bladed weapons, 39 firearms, 26 f/b engines, 19 boats, 14 facsimiles, 12 magazines, 01 weapon of war and a fragmentary grenade were retained.
