In Caracas, the national exhibition tour of the WBC 2026 World Champions trophy will begin

The Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Franklin Cardil lo, together with the president of the Venezuelan Baseball Federation, Aracelis León, and the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, María Soto, officially announced the route and logistics of the National Tour “Trophy of Champions”, an initiative that will bring the cup won by Venezuela in the World Baseball Classic 2026 to every corner of the country.

The symbol of the historic feat achieved by the Heroes of March, after winning the world title for the first time, will begin a journey through the streets and avenues of the country's 24 states plus Caracas, bringing this victory closer to the entire Venezuelan people.

Exhibition schedule

The tour includes parades that will culminate in the Bolivar squares of each entity, where the cup will later be exhibited in emblematic spaces so that children, young people and adults can appreciate it and photograph themselves with it.

The authorities reported that the trophy will be transported in a mobile caravan-like unit, progressing to the rhythm of the hymns and melodies that accompanied this sporting feat, creating a festive atmosphere and national celebration.

They also highlighted that the cup will be accompanied by the future of Venezuelan sports as boys and girls from minor baseball schools, together with legends, sporting glories, family members and relatives of the champions, reinforcing the symbolic value of this achievement as an inspiration for new generations.

The tour will also include activities within the so-called “fan festival”, with recreational spaces such as batting boxes for children, interactive screens, delivery of POP material, photographic sets with images of the champions and popular caravans that will allow mass participation of the public.

Venezuela victorious

The Sports Minister stressed that this tour responds to an instruction from the president in charge of the republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to share this triumph with the whole country.

“This tour of the Champions Trophy across the country will allow our people, minor baseball schools, athletes and the sports family to participate actively. We will be exhibiting the trophy in all Bolivar squares in the country, accompanied by festivals and activities that will bring this victory closer to every corner of Venezuela,” the minister announced.

For her part, the president of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee, María Soto, highlighted the impact of this initiative on the deepest values of nationality.

“This tour will motivate the boys and girls who play this sport and will show them how beautiful it is to be Venezuelan, because we cannot let this great feat go away, so we are going to undertake this journey so that baseball reaches every corner of the country,” he said.

Finally, the president of the Venezuelan Baseball Federation emphasized the national coordination for the success of the tour.

“The Venezuela Baseball Team, with all the executive train that accompanied us, expressed the joy that our country can enjoy the Cup. So we established an articulation with the municipal associations so that children can see this trophy and dream of achieving it. This bond has kept us connected to this great triumph and we hope that it will continue not only with baseball but also with Venezuelan sports,” added Aracelis León.

It starts in Caracas

The tour will start a 24-day trip that begins in Plaza Bolívar in Caracas this Wednesday, March 25, and will continue on its way to Miranda, Aragua, La Guaira, Nueva Esparta, Sucre, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Delta Amacuro, Guayana Esequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Guárico, Carabobo, Yaracuy, Lara, Falcón, Zulia, Táchira, Mérid to and will end in Trujillo state on Saturday, April 18.
