In Monagas! Plan Cayapa Heroica recovers strategic equipment in the Caripito CDI

A team of technologists from the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) of the state of Monagas deployed a new day of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan in the municipality of Bolívar.

On this occasion, the technical brigades traveled to the Caripito parish to comprehensively address the medical infrastructure of the Alberto Millán Marcano Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), a vital healthcare institution that serves an average of approximately 250 patients per week in the town.

During the working day, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the experts focused their efforts on the technical evaluation and recovery of two critical areas for this health center.

After remaining inoperative, the 100 kVA power plant was reactivated thanks to the technical team making steady progress through the successful installation of an Automated Voltage Controller (AVR) and its subsequent energization. To finalize its final start-up at a next scheduled visit, the replacement of the air, diesel and oil filters was coordinated, as well as the respective lubricant change.

In addition, in the Radiology Service, rigorous preventive maintenance and deep cleaning were carried out on the X-ray equipment and its main controller. In this way, the system was technically optimized and ready to reactivate its operation for the benefit of the community once the supply of the developer liquid is completed.
