With great joy, meetings of the candidates for Judges and Justices of the Peace were held in Iribarren, with the leading participation of organized Popular Power, grassroots structures and the support of the Political Chief of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) of the Iribarren municipality, Luis Jonás Reyes Flores, together with state, municipal and parish liaisons of the red awning, the Ministry of the Communes, the National Electoral Council and deputies to the National Assembly.

This time the rallies were held in the Unión and Guerrera Ana Soto parishes, with the maximum participation of candidates for Justices of the Peace and communities.

This is an action framed within what our commander Hugo Chávez guided President Nicolás Maduro to give continuity and strengthening to popular power, strengthening participatory and leading democracy,” Luis Jonás Reyes Flores highlighted during the meeting.

He explained that the elections of Justices of the Peace are a constitutional act that will give more power to the people. “The objective is to achieve democratization of the justice system through judges of the peace, therefore, we need men and women with sensitivity, with love, with a sense of belonging to their community, who know and practice humanism,” said Reyes Flores.

For this reason, he also said that today we are seeing the faces of men and women who have been on the street, struggling and who have had social struggles and who are now going to be judges and judges of the Republic and that is only possible in Revolution.

For his part, Juan Carlos Sierra, member of the Electoral Commission and member of the National Assembly, highlighted the need to promote the participation of all the people in the elections on December 15, “in an unprecedented way, we are going to elect more than 30,000 Judges of the Peace throughout the country. In Lara, we are going to elect 2,130 Community Judges and Justices of the Peace in 355 Community Circuits.”

“Congratulations to all of us, so let's do a beautiful and motivating campaign to preserve peace and deepen our model of Popular Democracy,” said Sierra.

While the Political Chief of the PSUV Iribarren pointed out that this is a campaign of brothers and sisters and that mutual respect and recognition must always prevail there, “a campaign with new methodologies for approaching from house to house and in addition to visible faces and new faces, which also means that people are getting motivated and active and have the opportunity to participate,” he concluded.
