This Thursday, October 3rd, authorities from the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC) and the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation, inspected the new technical and operational conditions of the “José Leonaro Chirinos” National Airport in Coro, in the Miranda municipality, Falcón state, two months after the completion of the remodeling work.
The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark Boscán, was present at the working day led by the president of the INAC, Leonardo Briceño Dudamel and the Deputy Minister of Air Transport, Freddy Borges.
On his Instagram account, Clark noted that the commission evaluated all internal areas of the air terminal in accordance with the provision of a quality, comfortable and effective service, so they reviewed bathrooms, waiting room, medical service, luggage area, and others.
He specified that in the outdoor spaces they inspected parking, access roads, runway and control tower in order to verify aeronautical regulations.
The Regional Executive indicated that the purpose of the visit is to obtain flight certification that authorizes the arrival and takeoff of commercial aircraft.
The activation of commercial flights at this airport, the Falconian capital, would take an important step in promoting tourism and becoming a point of connection for travelers.
