INAMEH announces the arrival of a tropical cyclone starting next Monday, July 1st in the east of the country

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported that the 16th tropical wave that crosses much of the national territory and could become a tropical cyclone, will enter the east of the country this Monday, July 1st.
Through a press release, the agency revealed that “over the Atlantic Ocean early this Friday morning, a tropical wave with a potential of 20% to become a Cyclone was observed in the next seven days. To date, it is about 3,000 thousand kilometers from our Guiana Esequiba”.
INAMEH noted that after noon, cloud cover is expected to increase with rainfall of varying intensity, some with electric shocks in areas of Guayana Esequiba, Delta Amacuro, Anzoátegui, Bolivar, Amazonas, Miranda, Capital District, Carabobo, western Guárico, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa, the Andes and Zulia.
In Greater Caracas, partly cloudy skies are expected in the morning, alternating with clear areas in the morning, and progressively cloudy after noon with scattered rain and drizzle in the late afternoon and early hours of the night, mainly in mountainous and coastal areas.
