INAMEH maintains an alert for cloud cover and rainfall in the national territory

This Sunday, August 23, in the afternoon-night hours, Venezuela has partial cloud cover in much of the country, accompanied by rainfall and electrical activity in areas such as Carabobo, Aragua, Miranda, Capital District and La Guaira, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported.

These conditions remain in line with the national forecast for rains and thunderstorms during the day, associated with the advance of Tropical Wave No. 40, the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the monsoon flood.

In this regard, the agency indicated that this atmospheric behavior will persist for the next few hours.

INAMEH urged the population to keep informed through official media and to take the necessary preventive measures in the face of the variability of weather conditions.
