The National Institute of Hydrology and Meteorology (INAMEH) predicted that the rainfall that hit the Zulian region this Tuesday, July 29, will last for the next two hours.

The meteorological agency explained that there is a rapid development of convective cells that generate precipitation and electrical discharges.

He indicated that tropical wave 21 is moving through the center to the west of the country, this Tuesday, which will generate rains in regions such as western Bolivar, Amazonas, Táchira, Mérida, Trujillo and Zulia.

In Maracaibo, the situation in the Mara Norte sector has reached critical levels due to strong winds that have caused damage to infrastructure, including the power distribution network, leaving the inhabitants of the community without electricity.

On the other hand, the Central Quarter of Maracaibo was also affected by several sales stalls in the apartment, as well as flooded streets.
