The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) forecasts for this Saturday, June 20, sky with fragmented cloud cover and some areas with partial cloud cover in most parts of the country, according to its bulletin.

According to the information, there may be cloudy areas associated with rains or showers, mainly in parts of Guiana Esequiba, Delta Amacuro, Monagas, southern Bolivar, Amazonas, Western Plains, Trujillo and over Lake Maracaibo.

In addition, the entity indicates that scattered rainfall is not ruled out in the central-north coastal region, while in the afternoon and evening hours a progressive increase in cloud cover is estimated, which could be accompanied by rains of varying intensity and possible electrical discharges in much of the country, being more intense and frequent in areas of Guiana Esequiba, Bolívar, Amazonas, Delta Amacuro, Monagas, Sucre, Western Plains, Los Andes and part of Zulia.

Meanwhile, in Greater Caracas (Miranda — Capital District — La Guaira), an increase in cloud cover associated with rainfall of varying intensity, after noon, is not ruled out.

The weather conditions, explains Inameh, are due to activity in the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the Monsoon Valley, affecting much of the western part of the country.

In this regard, Inameh warns of the arrival of Tropical Wave number 17 of the season from southern Guiana Essequiba in the next few hours, followed by OT number 18, which is expected to enter Venezuelan territory on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th. Temperatures will range from a minimum of 18°C to a maximum that could reach 29°C.
