INAMEH: Tropical Wave No. 16 continues to modulate the activity of the Intertropical Convergence Zone

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported that Tropical Wave No. 16 moves from the center to the west of the national territory, interacting with the Intertropical Convergence Zone and the monsoon trough. This condition generates fragmented cloud cover and areas with partial cloud cover in much of the country.
“Tropical Wave No. 16 continues to modulate the activity of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, maintaining cloud cover and rainfall conditions of varying intensity in several regions of the country,” said Inameh.
The agency noted that there are rains or showers in areas of our Guiana Esequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, Anzoátegui, the Central Region, Falcón, Lara, the Central and Western Plains, as well as in the Andes and Zulia.
The institute specified that cloudy areas persist with rains in Guayana Esequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, Delta Amacuro, Monagas, Anzoátegui, Falcón, Lara, the Central and Western Plains, the Andes and Zulia.
