The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (INAMEH) reported this Thursday, May 21, the displacement of tropical wave number 4, located on its axis over the Caribbean Sea and the western region, in interaction with the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ZCIT), will cause rainfall of varying intensity, with cloud cover and electrical activity in much of the Venezuelan territory.
The entity expects cloudy skies and scattered rains during the early hours of the day in Greater Caracas, as well as an increase in cloud cover, between afternoon and night, which could generate rainfall of varying intensity with temperatures ranging between 16 and 30 °C.
In addition, the agency estimates cloud cover with rains of varying intensity in the state of Guayana Esequiba, Bolívar and Amazonas. Also in the Central and Western Plains regions, and lower intensity rainfall in the Andes and Zulia.
INAMEH indicated that in the afternoon and night, there will be a progressive increase in cloud cover with showers, particularly in the Central, Western Plains, Andes and Zulia, with scattered rain or drizzle in Guiana Essequiba, Bolivar, Amazonas, Central and Western Plains.
