Indigenous populations in Delta Amacuro received a day of comprehensive medical care

More than 570 indigenous people of the Warao ethnic group benefited from a day of comprehensive medical care developed in the Juan Millán parish of the Tucupita municipality, Delta Amacuro state.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, during that day, indigenous peoples received care in areas such as general medicine, pediatrics, gyneco-obstetrics, dentistry, nutrition, immunization, birth registration and the delivery of single doses of more than 864 drugs.

In addition, vaccines were applied against Yellow Fever, Hepatitis B, Toxoid, Diphtheria, Covid-19, and others.
