INEA intensified maritime patrol during the Easter holidays

The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (Inea) intensified maritime patrolling throughout the country due to the increase in the flow of seasonal workers during Holy Week.

The Port Authorities are on permanent alert from the waters of the east and west to the Llanera and Guiana regions to ensure the safety of citizens during the holy holiday.

According to the newspaper Última Noticias, Maritime Police units currently travel the busiest routes in order to monitor order in navigation.

During inspection operations, officials rigorously verify that each vessel complies with the safety measures established by law. These technical surveillance tasks seek to protect life at sea and ensure an efficient transfer of passengers.
