The auditorium of the Cachamay Total Entertainment Center (CTE) served as a stage for swearing in and installing the State Council for Science and Technology in the state of Bolivar, which seeks to implement a development pole for the country from each territory.
Through a prioritized route, those responsible will seek to show and expose mineral and natural benefits in a coherent and environmentally friendly way, respecting each existing protocol.
This activity, which included the participation of the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Alberto Quintero, and Governor Ángel Marcano, served, as reported by the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, to demonstrate the need to unite criteria regarding the growth of the different mineral, natural and urban sectors.
In the words of Quintero, the Bolivar state must be at the forefront of scientific and technological development, since it has the necessary characteristics to consolidate the entire “inventive process to generate all sustained growth for the country”.
In this regard, the Deputy Minister highlighted the will of the entity's public and private institutions that have joined in creating mechanisms to generate alternatives that promote collective participation and ingenuity.
“This swearing in is very important for Bolívar because of his resources, geographical location, human talent, even because of his history, because he is called to be a spearhead in the entire development of the country,” said Quintero.
For Governor Ángel Marcano, the need to keep up with all scientific and technological processes is of vital importance, “because it represents the entire liberating process that the country has assumed under the hand of Commander Chávez and now of brother President Nicolás Maduro, who only seeks to break with the inherited habit of only importing.”
In addition, Marcano explained that, in the case of Bolívar, during the 80s and 90s, “iron and aluminum of the highest grade in the north of the continent left the country at a gift price and returned to the country converted into another material with a tripled price and that ended because now the liberating process refunds every process of knowledge from its genesis to its final stage.”
