A large group of intellectuals, indigenous leaders and political leaders presented the manifesto entitled "United for Ecuador “, with the objective of calling on the population to defend sovereignty and national dignity. The document emerges as a response to the social deterioration that the South American nation is going through, urging citizens, both inside and outside the territory, to remain alert to the current political situation.

The text formally denounces the dismantling of the State, the sustained increase in the prices of basic products and the progressive loss of fundamental rights for the population.

The signatories pointed out that the critical scenario of insecurity and the shortage of medicines are a direct consequence of indolence and authoritarianism. According to the statement, these factors seek to extinguish the hope of the Ecuadorian people through policies that affect the quality of life.

Figures representing social movements, including Carlos Rabascall, Gabriela Rivadeneira and Humberto Cholango, supported the official statement. These leaders emphasized the need for national coordination to stop the decline in social and economic guarantees. The coalition of signatories seeks to make the internal crisis visible to the international community and promote a structure of civil resistance in the face of measures that violate the country's stability.

The initiative seeks to consolidate a platform for action that recovers democratic values and attention to the most urgent needs of communities. The promoters of "United for Ecuador" argued that the unity of the various social sectors is the only way to guarantee a future of well-being and peace. With this proclamation, indigenous intellectuals and leaders confirm their commitment to the protection of national interests and the reconstruction of the social fabric.
