Valencia will celebrate its 471st
anniversary with the Ciudad Mural International Muralism Festival, which
will take place from 24 to 29 March in the historic center, where it is hoped to
transform its spaces into an artistic and cultural meeting point.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, for
six days, the emblematic Colombia street will be intervened by local,
national and international artists, with the purpose of converting it into an
open-air gallery that highlights the city's identity and heritage, as reported
by Nancy de Lacava.
The initiative seeks to go
beyond painting, consolidating itself as a space for social,
community and tourist integration that promotes the encounter between art and
citizens.
The
festival will include the participation of urban art exponents such as Eski
Bel (Colombia), Rero (Caracas), Camargo (Barquisimeto), Dial (Caracas), Saint (Guárico) and Camila Robles
(Valencia), who will bring their creative vision to the interventions.
