As part of the national government's policies of international integration and strengthening of the tourism sector, the new international air route Valencia-Havana was inaugurated.
The Venezuelan airline Rutaca will be responsible for operating this route with a frequency of two weekly flights on Monday and Friday, with Boeing 737 and MD-80 units.
It should be noted that the maiden flight allowed the arrival of 13 passengers from Havana's José Martí International Airport to Valencia's Arturo Michelena International Airport; while 42 passengers departed from the capital of Carabobo to the Caribbean island, which generated a flow of 57 passengers in this first section.
From the Cuban company Havanatur, they point out that “the new route will bring both destinations closer, which offers the possibility of discovering Cuba with tourist packages that will allow you to visit Havana, Viñales and Varadero for short stays”.
In addition, the Havanatour team explained that “other options are also offered in programs designed to spend more time on the Island”.
