INTT announces closure of three road arteries in Ciudad Bolívar

On three road arteries in Ciudad Bolívar, Angostura municipality, a comprehensive plan for road demarcation and placement of reflective markings began this Friday, by the National Institute of Land Traffic (INTT).

The areas served are Paseo Meneses, Avenida Libertador and Paseo Simón Bolívar, covering a total area of 25.72 kilometers of road, according to a press release.

For the works, the application of 128,635 linear meters of high-strength traffic paint is estimated, as well as the demarcation of 41,204 square meters for deep horizontal signage. In addition, reflective devices will be placed for night driving and 35,503 studs commonly known as “cat's eyes”.

The plan also includes the application of longitudinal edge and channel lines to delimit traffic, painting and adaptation of road intersections, drawing of auxiliary lines, drawing of pedestrian crossings and braking areas.
