In the context of the “Start of the School Year 2024 - 2025”, the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) implemented horizontal demarcation in the vicinity of two educational units in the Capital District.

The first is the “San Francisco Javier School”, located in La Pastora, and the second is the “Cosme Damián Peña” Basic Unit, in La California, with the objective of reinforcing drivers about the flow of children who cross the streets.

The work, which began early this Tuesday morning, consisted of the demarcation of continuous and discontinuous lines, as well as the painting of brothels, pedestrian crossings, stop lines and letters that identify the area, as established in the Venezuelan Manual of Uniform Devices.

According to a press release from the INTT, the work was carried out in compliance with the provisions of article 23 of the Land Transport Act, which indicates that the INTT is the entity responsible for controlling, regulating, placing, maintaining and maintaining signs, as well as road demarcation on national roads and highways.
