The governments of Iran and Türkiye urged Islamic countries to take concrete and urgent measures to end the war in Gaza.

During a phone call between the Iranian Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araqch i, and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, who is currently the president of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), they strongly condemned the escalation of the genocide committed by the Zionist regime, which has cost the lives of more than 59,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, since October 2023.

They also rejected the humanitarian blockade caused by food shortages, according to a press release from HispanTV.
