The
Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollohian,
stressed on Tuesday that Yemen's Houthis will not cease attacks on Israeli
ships in the Red Sea as long as the Western siege of their country
and the genocide in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime of Israel continue.
In this regard,
the Iranian Foreign Minister reiterated that the cessation of the war will depend on
stopping Israel's criminality. As long as “the war and genocide against
Gaza continue, (...) they will stop boat traffic,” he emphasized
The minister
urged the United States (USA) and the United Kingdom to “stop the war against Yemen immediately”,
since “the solution will never be military”, referring to the attacks launched by
Washington and London against Houthi positions.
“The White House
cannot talk about its desire not to expand the war in the region and send
a message to us and others, but at the same time to expand the war on the Red
Sea against Yemen,” said Amir Abdollohian.
