The Regional Sports Institute of Aragua (IRDA) held a working meeting with municipal directors to establish the road map that will allow the progressive and safe reactivation of activities in the entity in which it was established as a priority to evaluate the territory's facilities.
During the meeting, the president of the IRDA, Carlos España, and the vice-president of the institute, Edgardo Díaz, presented the actions that will be implemented to ensure the gradual return of sports activities, prioritizing the safety of athletes, coaches and communities through the inspection and certification of sports infrastructures.
One of the main agreements envisages that each municipal sports department immediately coordinates working groups with Civil Protection to draw up a schedule of inspections of facilities with the highest concentration of users. These evaluations will make it possible to determine the structural conditions of the spaces before authorizing their reopening.
“Municipal institutes must exist, there must be municipal sports institutes because there must be an entity that guarantees the overcrowding and infrastructure of municipalities,” said Spain.
